| 0:31.0 | Hey, it's storyworthy. Today on the show, comedian Angela Johnson-Reyes talks about the year that changed her life. I'm going to try out for the Oakland Raiders cheerleading squad. And if I make the squad, then I'm going to do it for one year. And then I'm going to move to L.A. and I'm going to pursue my dreams. I'm going to try to be an actress. But if I don't make the squad, then I'm going to take this as my sign that the entertainment industry was not for me, and I will go in a whole different direction. Like, I'll do something with dogs or I'll be a massage therapist, because that's the only other thing I know how to do. And the woman Lisa Alvarado, who was teaching the class, saw me in the acting class and was like, hey, you're funny. Do you want to come and take my joke writing class? And I was like, is it free? She's like, yeah, I'm like, I guess so. So I take her class. One of the first jokes that I wrote was this nail salon bit that ends up blowing up my spot on YouTube. Today on the show, comedian Angela Johnson-Reyes talks about the year that changed her life. Stay close. |
