Hello and welcome to another episode of The Thinkman. I believe, I'm correct in saying,

this is number six, did I say yes, I can't remember enough, I get that right every school time.

But the good thing about misnumbering this time is that we have a slight different approach to this episode.

I think the light of the January transfer window, some of the focus being shown upon Chelsea's

recruitment strategy, or lack thereof, or just general sort of spot composition eras,

Yazan and I have jumped in, the back signal has gone up, we're dropping a little bit of a special

episode here, so this may be going out as the transfer men. A slight nod to The Thinkman there,

but focus I think this time is going to be looking at basically sort of the state of play at Chelsea.

I think looking at the direction the club could be heading in, how things are,

sort of the way they are, and they're looking at possible ways to sort of address the balance and

let's say readdress the gap between city and Liverpool and Chelsea. Before we kick into things,

first and foremost, we want to take a look at, let's say an interesting start to the January

transfer window in terms of Chelsea being able to retain one of their coaches. So obviously,

Threck Lampard has made his way up to Mercer side, he's made his way to become

Everton's manager, taking with him what seems like half of Chelsea's coaching style for him,

obviously Joe Edwards as well as Ashley Cole. Chelsea though managed to retain the services

of a man who appears to be very much a demand, both for sort of coaching roles at international

level, obviously coaching roles in terms of Premier League clubs, also being offered managerial jobs,

it seems like his name is popping up frequently for people who potentially are going to become

a head coach or manager at some point in the near future, and that was looking at Anthony Barry
