Welcome back to the quote of the day show. I'm your host, Sean Crox and a

Sean Crox and calm. It's throwback Thursday, but it's a different kind of

throwback Thursday. Today's episode was not that long ago. It's probably about

two or three months ago, but I wanted to play it again for you today in memory

of Sean Stevenson, who passed away last week and just such a remarkable

individual and his book Get Off Your But, B-U-T But is one of the first books I

read in this whole personal development game and it was such an impactful book

because it was all about just letting go of your excuses and you read this book

and you go, man, this guy's in a wheelchair. This guy's got brittle bone syndrome.

This guy wasn't supposed to make it this far and you read that and you look at

all of your stuff. You know every excuse you have every alibi you have and you

just say to yourself, and I said to myself, this guy can do it. Not only can I do

it, but anybody can do it. You can do it. And I'm just so happy for Sean that he

got to go out in the world and spread his message and to give people hope. You

know, it's really what he did. He gave people hope and I'm sure he's so proud of

himself for doing that. I'm so proud of him for doing that just from making the

world a better place. And yeah, we just lost a really good one and here Sean.

Lesson number one. Never believe a prediction that doesn't empower you. When I was

born, the doctors told my parents that I would be dead within the first 24 hours of my life.

35 years later, all those doctors are dead. And I am the only doctor that remains. Never
