Summary

Can a Christian have a meltdown? We often times know that a crash or meltdown is coming but we don’t know what to do. In this week’s class, we’re going to talk about "environment." Who are you waiting for to participate for you to live an abundant life? We are called to live an abundant life without anyone else participating. How do you get your power back? Galatians 6:5 (MSG) Make a careful exploration of who you are and the work you have been given, and then sink yourself into that. Don’t be impressed with yourself. Don’t compare yourself with others. Each of you must take responsibility for doing the creative best you can with your own life. The environment in which you are growing life is your responsibility. God is the gardener, he is the center of our life! This is Havla's podcast and I'm Havla Cunnington. This week we're jumping right back into our

0:18.2

series on growth. This whole month is about giving you a sneak peek at what our, well, our

0:24.9

table membership offers each month. We pick a theme and we unpack it in four simple classes.

0:31.8

Well, one class a week for the month and this whole month is about growth. The subtitle is

0:39.2

Settle Changes for Radical Growth. You see, we believe that subtle changes, small changes over a

0:46.4

period of time can result in huge success. It's really the secret sauce to building the life

0:52.9

that we want to build on purpose. So this week we're going to look at developing our environments.

0:58.8

How does our environment affect our growth and how important it is that we, we really steward it

1:04.8

in a way that honors God and really holds value the things that we hold value. So sit back, jump in,

1:12.6

and we'll start this class and we'll catch on to the other side.

1:23.4

Can a Christian have a crash like a meltdown? I don't know if you know of anybody that's ever had a

1:29.2

meltdown, but I've had a few friends in my life that love God. They're committed to God. They do

1:35.0

everything that they know how to do and yet in the middle of their everyday world they crash.

1:40.9

They emotionally crash. Sometimes they mentally crash. Anxiety, depression. And I remember a time

1:46.8

of my life when I went through a crash and I'm telling you like a full blown, I cannot move on

1:52.7

from here. And it happened many years ago when I had our second son, Hudson. Hudson was our

1:58.8

second child, but we actually had two kids in two years. So it was a little bit of a big,

2:03.2

big kind of mess in a good way. And about the four month mark with Hudson, I was, I'll never

2:08.8

forget we were at my parents house because the home that we went to rent had black mold. And so they

2:14.0

we called, they called us and said, you guys can't move into this home. And we had just had a baby,

2:17.7

our second baby. And I was sitting on my parents couch. And as I'm sitting there, my mom is cooking

2:24.3

dinner, my dad's outside talking to Ben, Judas wandering around. And I'm holding our baby, Hudson.
