Mac Power Users episode 73, podcasting, the How and the One. Hello, David Sparks here. We're going to go inside baseball today and we've had a lot of people

requesting that we talk about how we put together the show and what the workflows are

involved with that. So we're going to do it, right Katie?

That's right, David.

So let's talk about podcasting.

Yeah, so we've had lots of requests for the shows and I guess this was something that we haven't done for a long time because we thought would any of the things that we did.

This is not necessarily the right way to do it.

In fact, we'll talk about some of the things that we just flat out did wrong

and wish that maybe we had done differently and now maybe it's too late, but I guess it will give

you a general idea.

Yeah, and I think it's also important that we talk about why, you know, and we'll do that at the end of the show,

but just the fact that you've got the tools isn't enough and you've got to really come up with an idea

if you want to get into

podcasting so but let's start with the basics you know how did how did we get here?

I ask myself that question every day. Well, now you're making me a little scared.

So I think we met at Macworld.

Was it three or four years ago?

I mean, obviously I was aware of who you were because I think everybody in this our kind of Mack's circle of friends knew you knew me although we had never met directly and we had this unique thing in common that we were both these Mac geek lawyers and people just kind of assumed that we needed to get together at some point.

I'm pretty sure I met you in line for the CERC-D-MAC show at a Mac show at some time in the past.

That might, that's probably it.
