I wanted to ask you, what are your primary stats that you use to evaluate hitters and pitchers,

fantasy-wise and non-fantasy-wise?

I mean, that's a great question.

And I'm going to try to answer that, at least start off today from a hitter standpoint,

and maybe next time go from a

pitcher standpoint, just me and how I evaluate players statistically. And I'll throw on a little

bit of scouting stuff and how I try to meld everything together. So that'll be in the last

segments, a little bit longer podcast than we typically do. Let's get on with it.

I say let's get on. Let's get on it. Let's start off with the Miami Marlins, which came out Tuesday.

It's a really strong system. I know that when Derek Jeter was part of the ownership team that bought out the

Miami Marlins, they spent a lot of money, we're told to shed payroll, and Giancarlo

Stanton goes, and Kristen Yelich goes, and Osuna goes, and there was questions about what

they got in return.

But I have to tell you, they've done a really good job at developing some players.

And while some of the returns they got back in those picks are questionable,

it's clear that the J.T. Remote trade looks like it was a home run.
