I'm your host, Jason Snell. Our book club reconvenes. We have reached the end, or at least nearly the end, of our walk-through nominees on the big awards short lists, the Nebula Awards and

the Hugo Awards. We'll have one more episode where we rank things and at least Erica and I will

talk about the short fiction and maybe other people too a little bit. We'll see depending on their

motivation. The novellas are nice they're like little books they're

like short books everybody's invited everybody is invited to read as much of that the hugo

nominees for short fiction as possible but it could also be none and that's fine too but anyway

that that will be our next book club episode in a few weeks but we're going to wrap up our

discussions of the nine nominees

for Best Novel Across the Hugo and Nebula Awards for last year, 2023. The awards being
