Summary

Sometimes a clean sweep is exactly what’s needed, as your life moves on and your interests change. Brian C. in NC is embracing family life and wants a minivan and a 'dad car.' Then, Adam F. is rather conflicted and asks if he should flip his unexpectedly rare car? Social media questions ask for the worst car the guys have fallen in love with, is the world in a new automotive ‘malaise era,’ and can you restore a car out-of-class? Seasons 1-10 are available on Amazon Prime and Vimeo worldwide. Please rate and review us on iTunes, and the TV show on IMDB and Amazon. Write to us with your Car Debates, Car Conclusions, and Topic Tuesdays at everydaydrivertv@gmail.com or everydaydriver.com. Share the podcast with your car enthusiast friends! Some big news. The Toyota 86's piece. It's a triple car comparison.

0:51.0

Now playing on our main channel on YouTube. And this was a comparison piece that we shot before.

We had all the madness in May for us, which was a lot of TV shooting and editing.

1:03.0

And then we went to Germany on pilgrimage trip. And so it's been sitting there waiting.

1:07.0

We've been wanting to get it out. And so thanks for your edit. Both you guys just turned out well.

1:13.0

It's an interesting piece because we have that first gen F, what was the FRS became the GT86.

1:19.0

This is the Hakone, like the last breath of that first gen against our GR86 back on the stock wheels and tires against a brand new 2022 BRZ.

1:29.0

And I will admit straight up, we came into the piece expecting the BRZ and the GR86 to be essentially the same with different badges.

1:39.0

And we were quite surprised. They're not totally different cars, man.

1:45.0

But it was fascinating to drive them back to back, which is the thing that I feel like we haven't seen much of is the actual back to back comparison.

1:52.0

There's been a lot of people that driven both and we hadn't driven the BRZ, but it was about having them where you literally climbed out of that one and climbed into this one.

1:59.0

And you went, oh, that's interesting. And that's the thing that we've loved doing about comparisons over the years.

2:05.0

The more comparisons we do, they're tough to put together to get all the cars at the same time in the same place.
