Good afternoon. Like many of you I haven't slept well over the last few nights. I'm writing this at 4.30 Monday morning. I've been awake since 4.15.

On our show we feel our prime directive is to make you laugh and hopefully we do that occasionally in our little program.

0:15.6

But before we get to the regular content of today's show, I felt it important to pause, to pay our respects, to reflect, to acknowledge the grief of so many. There are only

1:30.3

lives lost in New Town on Friday, December 14th.

1:34.0

And although for most of us, these were people we did not know,

1:38.0

I hope that you can reflect on these lives

1:41.0

as if they were people close to you. I believe it is time that we begin to change

1:46.0

the way we behave toward one another and perhaps we can start by grieving for

1:51.4

total strangers.
