Before this week I knew very little about Africa’s history. It’s a continent of many nations, nations whose boundaries and governments are near constantly in some state of transition. It’s a beautiful continent rich in wildlife, natural resources, and culture but suffering under perpetual war, famine, and chaos. There are currently 15 African countries experiencing either war or post war tension. Why? Well, turns out the trouble has a lot to do with good ol’ fashioned European imperialism. We know something about that here in America. It’s how our own nation was formed. So let’s learn more about the continent you, in all likelihood, know less about than other continents - Africa. 0:43.9	Eritrea left Ethiopia in 1993.
0:47.2	South Sudan, left Sudan, not even a decade ago in 2011.
0:51.3	And there could soon be several other countries voicing their independence very, very soon.
0:56.3	Due to numerous civil wars currently raging in Africa.
0:59.9	There are currently 15 African countries experiencing either war or post-war tension.
1:05.2	Why is there so much turmoil?
1:07.3	Well, the turmoil isn't new.
1:08.7	It's been going on for a while in Africa, and a lot of it has to do with some good old
