I hope that you've been as encouraged as I have been as we've looked through the

Gospel of John these past few weeks in these turbulent difficult times.

We have been reminded that we're never without hope. We're never without help because we're never

without Christ. We're never without help because we're never without Christ. We're never ever alone.

You know when we think about Easter, we often think about a triumphant day full of joy and wonder where we celebrate our Savior conquering death.

But for the disciples of Christ, the first disciples, the first Easter was full of fear. The disciples, the first Easter, was full of fear. The disciples, according to John's

gospel, hid in an upper room behind a padlocked door for fear that the

leaders who came for Christ might come for them,

and what they did to Christ might happen to them.

The scripture says, then lo and behold, Jesus came

and he stood right in the middle of their locked room and he said to them peace be with you.

That's in John 20 in verse 19.
