| 0:00.0 | Hey everyone, before we get started today, I just want to ask a favor. I am asking you to call |
| 0:05.4 | the US House of Representatives, 202, 224, 3121, ask for the House Select Committee on January 6th |
| 0:15.2 | and tell the membership there that they must enforce the subpoenas. If people like Steve Bannon |
| 0:20.6 | and Mark Meadows and Ali Alexander and Dan Skovino are not held to account for defying a |
| 0:26.9 | congressional subpoena, then we'll know all we need to know about the status of American democracy. |
| 0:32.0 | Now, on with the show. |
| 0:41.9 | Welcome back to the Lincoln Project. I'm your host, Reed Gailan. Today, I'm joined by Trigviel's |
| 0:48.2 | Senior Advisor to the Lincoln Project and President of Viking Strategies LLC, |

| 1:31.9 | happened nine months ago on the steps and in the corridors and in the floors of the U.S. House and |
| 1:37.4 | U.S. Senate chambers. Not surprisingly, Republicans scuttled that because they knew that nothing good |
| 1:43.3 | was going to come out of that for them. Speaker Nancy Pelosi, therefore, sets up a House Select Committee |
| 1:49.4 | on January 6th, names two Republicans, ultimately Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger to that and |
| 1:54.9 | making Cheney the vice chair of the committee. And they have a few hearings. And as they get deeper |
| 2:00.0 | into the summer, they start to issue subpoenas for people like Dan Scavino, Donald Trump's social |
| 2:06.4 | media, Goon, Mark Meadows, former White House Chief Staff, and of course Steve Bannon, the |
