Summary

I don’t like titles claiming to be the end-all or holy grail for anything. But I believe this claim to be irrefutable. The biggest influence in your life is your inner voice. Your personal thoughts. They were not pre-programmed at birth, you have so far spent a lifetime having your inner voice programmed, either proactively with intention, or you’ve allowed other people and things to program you. Though the truth for everyone is, both. But to what percentages? The danger is we primarily believe our thoughts. We feel they come from our beliefs and what we deem to be true. But brain and personal development research has proven this to be false. How you perceive yourself and what you believe about yourself is often a faulty perspective. More importantly, if you want to become something different, you must start telling yourself something different. Zig Ziglar made this topic one of his primary messages and in this show we hear him deliver a seven minute message about it that will equip you to do something about your own voice. Then I posted this question on Facebook, “The voice inside your head...what is a positive and negative label it gives you?” and had Tom Ziglar join me to talk through the comments. As always the comments were authentic, vulnerable and sometimes hard hitting.  Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
