Hello and welcome back to Mac Power users. My name is Steven Hackett. I'm joined by my friend

and yours, Mr. David Sparks. Hey, Steven, how are you today? I'm good. I'm back on the show,

but on vacation. So I'm 11 stories above the Gulf of Mexico and a very fancy resort place

with a bunch of my wife's family. So if you hear a seagull fly by, that's that's what's going on.

Yeah, and I think the audience should know that. I mean, because I offered to give Steven the

week off. I'm like, man, you've been out there helping cure cancer. Take the week off. And he's

like, no, I want to be on the Mac Power users. Yeah, one, one of coming out on vacation. I could

tell you if I was up there on the 11th floor, I'd be letting you take care of this one for you.

Good fun. Yeah. So on that note, I do want to thank people for their just incredible generosity.

We closed our annual St. Jude fundraiser at $775,000, which is about 70 grand above last year.

Everyone told us we were going to be smaller than the year before. You know,

tough times for a lot of people, but the relay audience and the wider Apple community really

stepped up this year. So a new high watermark that puts our total over the life of the campaign

2.98 million, which is an unbelievable amount of money. And so thank you, everyone who donated,

who shared, of course, that extends to our guests today. The ATP guys really come through every year.

Just an amazing month. And being at the beach and having some time to reflect on it, it's just,

it just is incredible. So thank you all who who took part. And I get some time off from planning,

but just know the beginning of the year, you know, behind the scenes will be working on the next one.

You know, with Daisy getting the full-time job at Disney, the health insurance is really awesome.

But you know, what else is awesome is getting that email saying, hey, we saw you made this

contribution to St. Jude. And we're going to go ahead and match that. And man, that's pretty
