You know, last year, I was just so grateful for the summer.

We didn't go anywhere or anything.

We canceled our vacation, as I'm sure a lot of you did too. But, like, you know, how great it felt to at least be able to feel like you could open the door and go outside. Anyway, on our show, we called on Carla Hall at this time, and she's one of the most feel-good people I've ever met. We wanted to talk with her about what she was cooking in the summertime. She's a chef, an author, a restaurateur, a host, a motivational speaker, and maybe most of all, she's one of those people where when you see her, you just get good vibes.

Most of the you see her on TV, I mean, she was a finalist on Top Chef. She was a host of the daytime talk show, The Chew. Now she's a judge on the new Netflix series, Crazy Delicious. And every time I see her on screen, I just feel like, man, I want to hang out with her. And today, we get to do just that.
