Summary

Wisdom is defined as the quality of having experience, knowledge, and good judgment I find it actually falls in that sequential order, you have an experience, you gain knowledge from which you utilize good judgement. Or let’s say...you can. If you pay attention. That’s the crux of this show with wise guy...Guy Kawasaki. This is actually my second interview of Guy. His new book is called Wise Guy and it’s a compilation of life lessons. Guy is an unprecedented influencer, which accounts for the half million people who follow him on Facebook and almost 1.5 million on Twitter. He’s chief evangelist of Canva, an online graphic design tool and brand ambassador for Mercedes-Benz. He was the chief evangelist of Apple and his stories of working with Steve Jobs, and lessons learned, are intriguing. He’s a bestselling author of multiple books such as The Art of the Start 2.0 and Enchantment. But in this book he walks through much of his life and career and literally shares a ton of great stories and then what lesson he learned from them. As you’ll hear, it really caused me to consider the many events that have and are always happening in my life, and ask...am I learning lessons from them, or just letting them pass by? Honestly, we hit some really poignant issues in this show, and we laughed a lot. He’s just a total joy to be with and learn from. He’s as humble and authentic as anyone I’ve ever met. You’ll learn and I think thoroughly enjoy this show. Find Guy’s book, Wise Guy, wherever you buy books. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
