There's a real war going on right now in football circles.

People are fighting about the Cleveland Browns.

The Browns are the joke of the league.

It seems like every day there's something different.

And things really peaked right before the trade deadline, as the Browns apparently had

a deal in place to get AJ McCarran from the Bengals, but they were unable to get the

deal done because of an email issue.

Seriously.

I don't really care about what went down in the drama that's unfolding there.

I'm just here to talk about something that's taken over any sort of Browns related discussion,

and that's how analytics aren't working.

You can't win when your picks aren't converting to actual players, people are saying.

And they're not wrong.

The idea of gobbling up picks in football is all about the fact that the NFL draft is

a fairly random venture.

One team is truly not all that much better at evaluating talent than another team.
