But Harry has also been writing technology for years and he does stuff with time magazine and several other

Big publications that would never want anything to do with me and

Katie right? Yeah it's probably true.

Well that's something to do with you because you have a great podcast. But the but so I've been a fan of Harry's for a long time and I love the stuff you do.

And in December, Harry wrote a post about, it's entitled, how the iPad 2 became my favorite computer and immediately started

pestering him with emails because I thought it was a really interesting post

where you were talking about how you made the choice, I guess intentionally to see if you could just use your iPad and

ditch the laptop for the type of work you do and largely the answer was yes.

The answer is turned out to be yes probably about 80% of the time and when I'm out and about which I am

most of the time it's higher than 80% and when I'm at home, I tend to use my MacBook error and sometimes a

Windows laptop more often just because some of the benefits of the iPad are less pertinent

when I'm not out and about.

Yeah, so well and your job includes a lot of travel so you're out going to conferences and

events all over the world really in fact when you wrote this post you had gone to Germany

and primarily relied upon your iPad there. I'm pretty nomadic so I spent a lot of

time just sort of traveling around the Bay Area I work working in coffee shops and
