0:56.4	you see in my garden planning, but also as I try to figure out what is going to be the best
1:02.4	content to share with you on the podcast. So last year in the fall, I was going through different
1:09.0	ideas of what you might enjoy hearing about
1:11.7	or what needs you might have when it comes to your garden.
1:14.9	And so what I did is I asked those of you guys who are members of the Beginners Garden Shortcut
1:20.3	Facebook group some questions.
1:23.2	One of the questions I asked was what was the most surprising expense when it came to starting your garden?
1:32.5	Now, this is something that's very close to me. As you know, if you've been listening for any length of time, I started my garden because I wanted to save money.
1:41.3	So having a budget-friendly garden was top of mind for me.
1:48.0	And just as a teaser to next week's episode, we're going to be talking about other
1:52.3	budget-saving tips when it comes to the garden. But back to my question. The top answer to that question of what was the most surprising
2:03.3	expense when it came to starting your garden was soil and specifically raised bed soil.

2:18.8	soil you were going to have to put in your raised beds, especially if you didn't have any native
