So why then is it good to examine our emotional life?

I can remember reading this section early in your book and thinking,

this could also just throw you into all kinds of confusion. Termoil.

Yeah.

So we know denial is not good.

Faking it is not good. and just expressing everything inside of you

is not good so the middle that third way is examining your emotions but talk about that and

talk about what's the good bad and ugly of committing to examining your emotions?

Yeah.

I'll try to give a very short answer and then you can follow it in any direction you like.

Well, I just, I want to let you, you can tell already.

Once I get going, I can go, I would say at the very core of why is it actually worth examining, it would be because

you can't do anything about it if you don't know what you're up against.

And if emotions are flowing from the heart and everything about our conversation thus far

is based on that idea, that emotions overflow from the heart, from what we love, from what we care about.
