Okay, so I received texts the other day that really set my mind whirling from my friend and fellow

podcaster Michael Bauer, host of the Plain Crash Podcast, a very smart, very thoughtful guy, in which he was expressing to me that he saw a lot of

similarities between the conditions of the world as it existed in 1914 at the

start of World War I and the conditions in the world today.

And he couldn't help but notice a crazy additional similarity which was that in late June of 1914 a 19 year old man took a shot at

and successfully assassinated

Archduke Franz Ferdinand, launching the world into a very dark and ugly period known as World War I.

And the fact that in early July of 2024 a 20 year old man took a shot at and thank God did not succeed in assassinating Donald Trump.

But he said he was interested in having a thought experiment and what would have happened had this 20 year old man succeeded as the 19 year old man has had succeeded 110 years earlier.
