Happy Deer Season, everybody.

We've had a lot of guests on lately talking about early season bow hunting and how to be successful and pretty much all of them do the same thing. They hunt feed trees. Now, y'all have heard from these guests that the name of the game when it comes to hunting feed trees is you've got to cover ground and you've got to check a lot of different trees to find that hot feed sign. Well, if you're planning on doing that this early season, there's one tool that you should really have. That is the acorn-producing oak layer from Onex Hunt.

I've been using the Vortex Fury range finding binocular this season, and I've been really loving them. It eliminates the need for a range finder for me and it's

1:11.0

really useful when you're hunting, let's say a big cutover where there could be a deer anywhere out there. And when you get eyes on it with the binoculars, it's really nice to not have to switch over to a rangefinder and relocate that deer and that sea of sagegrass with a rangefinder. I can just range real quick in my binos, get the rifle up, and I'm good to go. This is going to take the guesswork

Probably the biggest reason that Jacob and I like Latitude and wanted to partner with them is they have a little something for everybody when it comes to both features and price point.

2:01.6

One of the new saddles that they launched this year is the Maverick, which is an ultralight single panel saddle. It includes their patent-pending cradle chassis to emphasize comfort while still maintaining packability. Now I gotta say the Maverick is one of the most competitively priced saddles on the market for sure. Maybe if you're wanting to get into saddle hunting, but you're not ready to jump into a premium setup with a premium price point, check out that Maverick. It comes in under $200 and it is a legit saddle. If you're looking for something a little more feature rich, the other saddle they're releasing this year is the Lone Star, which is a premium single panel option featuring a stretch pleat and all the comfort features you'd expect

everything that you need to start saddle hunting so go check them out at latitude outdoors.com or hit the link in the show notes of this podcast. If you're enjoying this show, there's one place you need to be this August, and that is the Mobile Hunters Expo in Dalton, Georgia. We get a lot of questions about how do you find new hunting buddies, how do you find like-minded people who'd like to hunt the way that you do? Who you can bounce ideas off of, go on trips with, whatever the case may be. The Mobile Hunters Expo is the place to do that. If you're wanting to go get connected with the community and meet like-minded individuals, the Mobile Hunters Expo is it. So not only are you going to get the chance to network around and meet other people in this space, but also all the mobile hunting gear is going to be there. If you've ever wanted to try any saddles, lock-ons, sticks, or any other kind of niche mobile hunting gear, this is the place to do it. You know, a lot of those companies are direct to consumer, so you can't just go to a store, like
