0:00.0	Paul, today's question is a long one. I'd like to get your perspective on this, since you and Llewella have four adult children and six grandchildren. Here it is.
0:12.5	My wife and I are greatly blessed with two wonderful sons who marry two wonderful Christian women.
0:17.4	They bore us nine most special grandchildren who are currently between the ages of 13 and 27.
0:22.7	Two are married and all are believers. They were or all homeschooled and were taught the Bible
0:27.7	and Christian principles during their school years. The children are all uniquely gifted,
0:32.3	intelligent, caring, and some most sensitive to others and their needs. Three are employed with
0:37.2	Christian organizations,
0:38.5	and one is serving an internship with a major Christian organization.
0:41.8	We are most thankful for the training their parents provided,
0:44.9	as we are immensely blessed and thankful.
0:47.8	Our concern, however, is that we send monetary gifts for graduations,
0:52.3	weddings, birthdays, and Christmas.
0:55.2	Except for the youngest ones still at home, we rarely receive any expression of thanks, not an email, text, card, or even
1:01.4	verbally when we get together later. We've been praying about how to address the situation. Our concern
1:07.2	extends to others that may have sent gifts and received no acknowledgement as well.
1:12.4	Initially, I prepared a letter telling them how much we appreciated them, their maturity, and
1:16.4	accomplishments, and our love for them. I then addressed our concerns about their neglect in
1:20.7	expressing thanks. My thought was to send the letter to their parents first for their
1:25.1	consideration. And then, Paul, he goes on to ask for your
1:28.5	advice about how to write the letter, what to include, et cetera. So again, you're the father of four
1:34.4	adult children and six grandchildren. How would you provide counsel to this grandfather?
1:39.2	Well, we do. It has four married children and six grandchildren. Right now, it's the joy, and in many ways, the focus of our lives. And because we're convinced that the Bible is the best generosity story ever. You could summarize the story of the Bible from three words in John 3,
