Summary

It’s been a busy few weeks for the Flomas duo. Lauren’s been laser focused on completing her book proposal (with publisher meetings on the calendar!) and coaching Little Wing athletes. Meanwhile, Jesse’s been working hard on a new product launch for Picky Bars and planning for his 40th birthday. But amidst the beginning-of-the-year craziness, they get a quick Work, Play, Love date to answer your questions. Jesse and Lauren consider whether ultra-endurance events are “good for you” or not, they let you know signs of overtraining vs. constructive fatigue, they offer some advice about mixing up speed-work training, and they consider what to do when your partner suggests a vacation ahead of your “A” race. 0:30.0	and it's just like 30 kids total mayhem today was high school freshmen yeah
0:36.2	and there was a substitute teacher who is just really doing their best to wrangle

0:42.8	And I introduced myself, as the kids are like totally in Lane One and I'm
0:46.0	this random adult, like yelling at students to get off Lane One of their own track.
0:51.2	So I introduce myself to the PE teacher because usually
0:54.1	PE teachers take care of that for us. But anyway this guy turns out he used to
0:59.9	teach at Cascade Middle School and he was your teacher and he told me that his
1:06.2	wife also taught at Cascade Middle School and that they get a lot of kids come
1:09.9	through but that you were one of the most good-looking kids.
