That period is approximately six months long, from May to November of the year 1462 BCE.

During this time, Tuttmos III departed Egypt, conducted his war and returned, and many years later,

the events were translated into inscriptions, on temples, on tombs, and on great stilai at various locations. Thanks to this huge number of records which survive, the campaign has been
