This week on the show, we wanted to do an oily profile for one of the most popular essential oils in the world, tea tree essential oil. You'll be hearing from

Kelly Jones, who's a blogger at the blooming carrot.com. She's going to share with us the history of a

tea tree oil, which is super fascinating, the differences between species, the modern uses,

the chemical constituents, recipes, and so much more. Before we get to the show,

as always, let's pull a recipe out of our DIY dugout. This recipe comes from Michelle Ray Chun

in Cypress, Texas, and it's called My Skin So Amazing Facial Toner.

To make the facial toner, combine equal parts with hazel, water, and apple cider vinegar,

then add 10 drops lavender, five drops tea tree, two drops purification, five drops frankincense, three drops LMI, and 6 drops manuka essential oil.

Combine all together in a bottle of your choice and mix well before each use.
