This week on The True Jody Podcast, we finally have our first woman on the show

and she's one of the strongest people I've ever met.

An actress and entrepreneur who made a video diary during supporting her husband

in his battle against cancer while raising two kids.

And her name is Holly Matthews.

It was just so many similarities in who we were.

It was weird.

If anyone had ever said this to me, I'd have been like,

I wish love it for a sightstuff, but we met and we were fully equal.

It was an impenetrable, we were talking, we were in the Caribbean in May this year

and within a month, it was dead.

It was weird, three days after we were in surgery,

it was wallpaper in Texas' bedroom.

You know, it didn't give a fuck, it had bandages, I mean, it wasn't supposed to be.

But it was the hardest blow, like mentally, the strongest blow.

And not like a stiff upper lip or anything like that, just like pure,

I'll do the fuck I want, like on every level.

We were sat, me and the girls, and we were writing 32 reasons

why we love her, why we love dad.

And as I'm writing this, I mean, the pregnancy of this,

it's like not lost on me, like we were writing that.
