Hello Heroes and welcome to another exciting episode of One Shot.

I'm James Damato, your game master.

After the thrilling intensity of the Dracula dossier,

I decided to give things a bit more even pace with a comedy system.

I invited some of my favorite improv buddies on to help me out with that, and it became what I believe

is one of the silliest episodes on record. The game I chose for this was Inspectors

designed by Jared Sorensen. For those who don't know Inspectors is a

Ghostbusters role-playing system. Inspectors has a lot going for it.

There are plenty of rules that help you make the sort of wacky comedy antics

that you would expect in a Ghostbusters role-playing game.

It's also remarkably swingy, so when things start going bad, they go bad fast.

Easily my favorite part of this system is the character creation and first session advice for the game.

For your first session, it's recommended that you do a job interview for your character,

or in the case of our group, we did a lone pitch.

In most circumstances, it gives you a good opportunity to feel out who your character is.

What are their strengths? What are their weaknesses? Why are they in the ghost hunting business?

In our case it gave us 30 minutes to do non-stop bits.

If you're looking for some light, easy, fun, Inspectors is exactly the sort of system that you would want to play.
