Well, I was trying to type fist eggplant emojis today for a reason that's unrelated.

And I've gotten to, on the Mac, using search on the emoji little popover thing to find the emoji I want quickly.

For a lot of them, I know the names or I can get close enough to the names that it'll work really

well. For some of them, it doesn't. So I pop up the little emoji picker popover thing. So

control command space and I start typing eggplant and nothing comes up.

And I think to myself, well, that's weird because I know there's an egg plant.

Oh no.

Oh no.

A, you, B, E.

Oh, God, no.

This is terrible.

So apparently, I'm probably going to mispronounce the word

Oberjean. Obogene. Obergine, which I knew, obviously, was the incorrect name for that,

which is called an eggplant. But never in a million years did I think that would be the official,

or well, the Apple blessed name for this particular emoji.

Maybe it is the Unicode?

That's what I was thinking.
