About a minute before Mason turned up, I took one step into my backyard and just rolled the shit out of my ankle.

Stacked it, had toasted my hand, lost it, dog ate the toast.

So you're going into this podcast, having eaten no toast?

Yes, it's going to be a low energy. But my ankle looks fine, right?

No, it looks like somebody's cut the skin open and then stuck like a ping pong ball under it and then sort of stitched it back down again.

There's a spectacular lump under the fence. You're not coming back from that.

It's pretty good though. In what sense?

In that I'm not coming back from that.

Oh yeah, it's one of the ages. Yeah, it looks real cool.

But I'm with the show because you know we're professionals.

And you're not taking anything? Are you in a lot of pain right now?

I'm fine, honestly. I don't take a lot of pain meds.

So you're in a lot of pain.

Honestly, I'm fine. I definitely do this. If I fade, if I pass out, just continue.

No, I'm not going to continue. I'm just going to leave.

I'm going to quiet, but I'm going to let this thing roll until it runs out and then I don't know.

I guess when you were again, consciousness in a couple of days, you can just put it off.
