0:00.0	On August 7th, 2016, two girls and swimsuits stood at the bottom of the largest
0:09.6	water coaster in the world. They had just finished riding the 18 second ride and were coming
0:14.9	down from the adrenaline rush of it all. It was probably one of the most thrilling
0:19.9	experiences of the young girls lives up until that point.
0:25.6	But they couldn't help but feel that there was something
0:29.9	wrong with the ride.
0:33.0	When they strapped themselves into the flume at the start of the ride,
0:38.0	they were surprised to find that the only safety mechanism holding them to their seat was a seat belt like they had in their cars.
0:47.2	As they were waiting for the ride to be released, they had both been able to easily take
0:52.1	off their seat belts when the attendant checked to make sure they were safely secured.
0:56.8	Surely the tallest slide in the world should have better safety measures.
1:03.4	Just then, they heard a scream come from behind them.
1:08.9	Back in the direction of the slide.
1:11.7	They looked at each other, both with the same sinking feeling. Soon everyone
1:18.4	around them was screaming like a chorus. Coming down the slide was a flume with an empty seat at the front.
1:28.0	The belt unbuckled.
1:30.0	The two other women in the flume stared at the empty seat in both shock and horror.
1:36.8	One of the girls grabbed the other's arm, eyes wide and fixed on the slope above the flume.
1:44.0	Blood was trickling down the slide.
1:47.0	And that's when they heard someone scream for an ambulance.
