Last week were the NFL owners meetings in Orlando, Florida. It's at time where

free agency is basically over and now it's getting into the home stretch before the NFL draft and a lot of

interesting things happen has had an opportunity to speak with Kyle Shanahan

and John Lynch and even CEO Jed York about the 49ers plan of attack.

Unlike a year ago where you kind of knew where the 49ers were going

with the number two overall pick this year it's wide open for the

the number nine overall pick in this draft and a lot of options are available to

them and that is a point that General Manager John Lynch really stressed.

The 49ers spend obviously a great deal of time going to all the pro days.

They have representatives at every pro day.

They'll also be bringing in 30 draft eligible prospects. Some of those guys it's just

kind of to showcase, get people thinking that that's a player they might be

interested in. Other guys of course there is legitimate interest whether it's

round one all the way through round seven of the draft and last year the 49

spent a lot of time looking at the quarterbacks and John Lynch did admit that yes the

49ers had an interest in the quarterback position but a lot of it was just for
