Wrestling is scripted. This we know. The challenge remains the same, however. No matter how a fan approaches a story, the wrestler still wants to convince them that what's happening may be more real than they realize. It's called the suspension of disbelief. Of course, when you aren't pushing the envelope, things can go too far, and the reaction after the fact is always carnage. The audience then realizes maybe something is going on here, and all of a sudden it becomes a story of itself. And that's the reason we keep on watching. So I am Simon Mello and let's sit down and go over some of these moments and try and figure out what the flood was going on. Number seven, Charlotte Flair and Tiffany Stratton. April 4th, 2025, Smackdown. Charlotte Flair and Tiffany Stratton were preparing for their WrestleMania match, as you'd expect. Had a big promo battle in the ring. And it was intriguing, and Flair was quite clearly pushing Tiffany throughout all of these interactions. There had been a few occasions already when Charlotte threw in some lines Stratton wasn't ready for. Let us see you think on your feet. When you can watch any major feud like this in WWE, the veterans do it all the time. It sort of bought over here, though, as the Chicago crowd got on Charlotte so much, she did seem a little bit phased. She was meant to be a baby phase at the time, maybe. It was sort of all over the place. But of all the things, her podcast appearances leading up to this felt like she was trying to be more open. She got into detail about her recent divorces and her life struggles. These are always difficult things to discuss.

It did mean once they started shouting at each other again, Tiffany decided to even the odds.

Stratt and wonder if Charlotte's foul mood was down to the fact she was now 0 and 3 in marriages.

Sheesh. Flair then threw back that Kaiser had been in her DMs, and yes, at the time

Tiffany was dating Ludwig Kaiser. This was not part of the storyline too, and you can tell,

they just started shooting. Even the way Stratton leaves the ring feels like she knew what she had done

here, because she basically scarpers, and yes, you can see this on WWE Unreal. Now, that series is

part reality and part what WW would like you to see. And I don't think Charlotte or WW was very pleased with this at all. You just don't do that without clearance first. It did make for a fascinating mania match, though, which I will always defend. It was all over the place, but that made it stand out. It felt like a fight. It was totally chaotic. You can see this segment for yourself, though. I don't think it takes a genius to figure it out. Number six, Ricky Starks and Adam Copeland. I am still super intrigued to know what happened on this episode of AEW collision, was the 14th of October, 2023. The interaction between the two felt incredibly charged up. Ricky Starks and Big Bill had approached Brian Danielson, Adam Copeland to talk about the AW tag team titles.

When he quit to Adam, maybe you should stop looking at me with those bug eyes.

Copeland can't have liked that, so he just erupted that Stark was nothing more than a vanilla midget version of the rock.

And that sort of ended this because Ricky was meant to be talking to Danielson at the time, and now he was just shouting at Adam Copeland. So how this got so emotional, I do not know, but it did. And you can just tell it wasn't part of the plan because there is some proper base in these

insults. It's never really been chatted about properly either. So I guess Ricky just found a way to push

Adams buttons and that does happen. Not entirely sure. Vanilla midget is the best term in 2025,

though, because the business has evolved. Wrestlers naturally have got smaller. I think ultimately

it's been a bit of a net positive. By the time this was

done, I expected the curb your enthusiasm credits to roll. That's how uncomfortable it got. Number five,

Big Cash destroys the little person. So this is timely, given when I am recording this video,

we just saw Dominic Mysterio introduced a little person pretending to be John Cena in a segment that

felt like it was from 10 years ago.

Turns out seven years would have been more accurate as Big Cass did this in 2018. It was the first of May Smackdown 2 and Big Cass was feuding with Daniel Bryan, so of course he got a little person to dress up as him. How that is a sentence I don't know. And just for the record, it was awful then and it's awful now. Just never understood what the joke is meant to be. Whatever reasons, the instructions from management to Big Cass was to just boot this guy and then leave it be, but he did not. As soon as he could, he laid in punches too, which was directly ignoring an edict from Vince McMahon. I mean, what the flood did you think was going to happen here. Enzo and Cass were already in hot water too, so this didn't help and it clearly had an impact.
