Sun newspaper. The paper cancelled the page in 2015.

There was a campaign to get a woman on a British bank note and Jane Austen started gracing the

Then there was a movement to ban ladsmags,

led by the organization's UK feminist and object in 2013.

It was a decline in print media that killed off those publications.

Now I don't want to do down the efficacy of any of these initiatives,

but the common thread is that they were all led by white women.
