God is the source of every good thing and believing his word

is the foundation for peace and joy. Our thoughts are connected to our feelings so

if we want to feel better we need to think better. Now here's Joyce with today's teaching.

Second Crazy to chapter 8 verse 5. Now they're actually talking about a financial

offering here but I love what this says.

Nor was this gift of theirs merely the contribution that we expected,

but first they gave themselves to the Lord and to us as his agents by the will of God entirely

disregarding their personal interests they gave as much as they possibly could

having put themselves at our disposal to be directed by the will of God

Now you know what kind of a person that is, let's just say like as a minister.

That's somebody who says, oh Joyce, I really want to work for you.

Well, what position are you interested in? Whatever. I will do anything. I'm at your

disposal just I just want to serve in the kingdom of God. Now the people I get concerned about are the ones who

have to have an office and a name plate on the door and a special parking place

and and they want to know all the benefits and how much vacation they're going to get and

and

and then I love this one. This is my favorite when somebody wants to come to work for us

and they want to know what's going to happen to the ministry when Joyce dies. First of all I ain't go worry about when I'm

dead I'm gonna be happy so you know the point is is that we're living my faith
