Hello my friends and welcome back to the morning mindset. I hope you're ready to get your

minds aligned with the truth of God. Before we proceed into the Book of Proverbs today,

I want to thank those of you who have been giving so generously to the needs of the people

represented on the not-a-needyperson.org website. Not a needy person is a non-profit

we've established so that Christians can make their needs known and other Christians can be

moved by the Spirit to meet those needs. We've had some tremendous gifts given lately to help us

meet some of those needs in dramatic ways. We're so thankful. Thank you for participating. If you're

heard me in the past, refer to Trevor and Natalie who help us with not a needy person. They're

actually board members. Why would I say congratulations to them? They just a week ago received

one of the Lord's greatest gifts in the birth of their first daughter. Trevor and Natalie,

we love you guys. We're so thankful that God has blessed you with Hattie. Thank you so much,

Jesus. Amen. All right, let's move on into Proverbs chapter 6 verses 16 through 19. It says,

there are six things that the Lord hates, seven that are an abomination to him.

Hattie eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked

plans, feet that make haste to run to evil, and false witnesses who breathe out lies.

Solomon is laying out for us some of the things that are not godly behaviors, things that he says

God hates. Let's look at them. First is Hattie eyes. Another word Hattie means

Proud or arrogant. Someone who thinks of himself as above others. Well, did you know God hates

Hottie-ness? He hates that any person thinks they are better than another person. Just let that

statement sink in for a moment. Any sense in which you think you are better than another or

more important than another isn't an attitude that God hates. And we need to repent of it.
