I'm going through them for the very first time now in a quest to see. Is this the YA series that we've all been sleeping on? And I'm not going to be doing this alone. And what a wonderful person to talk about it with. Thank you. That's very kind of you. I'm excited to have you on as well. I feel like you are the exact age demographic for this book series. So did you read it once it came out? What is your fandom behind Percy Jackson?

I did.

I'm not sure if I actually read it once it came out? What is your fandom behind Percy Jackson? I did. I'm 25. I read it right around when it came out. I'm not sure if I actually read it right when it came out or if I like got hip to it a couple years later. But there was definitely like, I feel like this happens a lot in people's specific middle schools where like there's a wave of what fiction series you want to read and all your friends are reading at the same time. So I read it along with a couple of my best friends in middle school at the time. I don't remember exactly what grade I started it in because I was reading one through five kind of like as they were coming

out in the, you know, succeeding years or whatever. So yeah, I was reading it at the time. And this is

my first time reading it since then. Okay. So I am coming to it with brand new eyes and I have had 15 years of a

jaded existence since then, but it's still, it's still wonderful and it's still a lot of fun. You know,

the one thing that really jumped off the page immediately was just how funny it is. Yeah. Like,

I remembered it more for the Greek mythology aspect because that was a lot of stories that I hadn't

heard yet. I hadn't taken any Greek mythology classes in school yet. So I was coming to this new,

the subject material is obviously very interesting. Rick Raritan makes it very fun alongside that.
