Friend, today I want to start with the verse that will shake us to our core. In Revelation chapter 3, verses 15 through 16, Jesus says, I know your works, you're neither cold or hot.

I wish you were cold or hot. But then because you're

lukewarm, neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of my mouth. That's some strong language.

Jesus is not saying I'm just a little bit disappointed. He's saying, I will spit you out.

Do you realize, according to Jesus, the most dangerous

spiritual condition is not outright rebellion. It's spiritual indifference. It's pretending everything

is fine with God while your heart is miles away from him. Today I'm going to give you

seven signs you might be lukewarm and not truly

a Christian. My goal is not to condemn you. My goal is to help you examine yourself.

2 Corinthians 13.5 says, examine yourselves to see whether you are in faith. Test yourselves.

And that's exactly what we're going to do. Let's start with the sign number one.

Sign number one is you have no hunger for God. You can go for days, weeks, and sometimes months

without opening your Bible, except maybe when you're at church. Even when life is falling apart,

worship feels boring, prayer feels like a chore. But Jesus said in Matthew 5, 6, blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness.

Hunger is a sign of life.

In the physical world, if the child stops eating, parents know something is wrong.

The same thing is true spiritually.

When you stop craving God's presence, it's a warning light on the dashboard

of your soul. If you can scroll for hours on your phone but cannot spend 15 minutes in the Word
