If you play fantasy football, it's crucial that you understand the incoming rookie class,

especially the running backs.

Last year alone, we saw some key rookie running backs winning fantasy leagues like Kenneth Walker,

Isaiah Pacheco, Damien Pierce, Tyler Argear, Breece Hall.

And our goal is to identify those guys heading into 2023.

These are seven rookies with major upside.

And let's talk about one of them who might not be as popular or known right now.

And it's Sean Tucker out of Syracuse. The 21-year-old is kind of polarizing. He has really

nice size. He's 510, 210 pounds. Honestly, kind of the ideal size for a running back today.

So he spent all three seasons at Syracuse. He broke out at just 19 years old in 2020. What does that mean? Well, he went for over 700 total yards, almost seven yards per touch. And then he quickly improved the following year, going over 1,700 yards in his second year at just 20 years old. Now, heading into his final year, he wanted to improve on his receiving ability, having a career high 36 receptions. You can see things like this. His skill set is elusiveness after the catch is phenomenal and it fits the NFL mode.

He also ran track. He was one of the best track runners at Syracuse as well, which speaks for his

speed and burst. Now, if there's a spot for some concern, it would be past protection and

his overall consistency, which maybe his offense was a reason for that. He's currently being

compared and I see Lamar Miller in him and you might be saying, oh, Lamar Miller, not the greatest player because of what you saw when he was 30 years old in the

NFL. But let's not forget, from 2014 to 2018, Lamar Miller, 1,000 yards season, 800,000, 800,

when you factor in his receiving yards over here, he went over 1,100 yards in six straight

seasons. Now, I think he'll end up being

either a late third or an early fourth round pick. If it is the late third, you have really good

options for him in terms of fantasy. I mean, you have Buffalo, depending on what they do in the first

couple of rounds at running back. You have Kansas City. You even have Philadelphia. If they're not

to re-signed Miles Sanders, again, this is being recorded before Free Agency. The 4-th run, you have Arizona.

You have New England.
