Glad to have you download and listen to the show today. It's a beautiful Friday afternoon where I am. Hopefully you're enjoying the same kind of weather where you are. Got a bunch of teams on the practice field for OTAs right now. So that should give us some news to react to over the next couple of weeks. Don't overreact, though. We always preach caution with the practice reports coming out in June. do not want to overreact because sometimes yes we can find diamonds in the rough like

i'd look at denver right now sean peyton basically admitting that all his skill positions are

going to be big camp battles and seems like we could get some sleepers maybe emerging there

i know tight end lucas crawl he's somebody that in deep dynasty leagues, I've been stashing him, might see him start for the Broncos this year. I'd also look at the backs in Denver. I know Blake Watson's a guy I've talked about on the show already. He's out there in a lot of leagues. He could carve out a role this season in that wide open backfield. But those guys are for deep leagues. That's not what this this episode is about the point is what I'm trying to say if you can cut through

the the fluffy reports and the coach speak and everybody being in the best shape

of their lives sometimes we can uncover these late round guys or these UDFAs

that might be impressing on the field and that could actually grow into fantasy

relevance this season.

You think about some players in recent years that have done it like Isaiah Pacheco or James Robinson or Darren Waller or Philip Lindsay.

You know, some of these guys that have kind of come out of nowhere, late round picks, UDFA is that all of a sudden end up being fantasy starters on your team.

So it doesn't always work out, but you can find value if you're paying attention this time

a year.

So we'll be on the lookout for those guys.

And don't worry, I'm going to do a couple episodes going over all my takeaways from

OTA practices in the next couple weeks here.

But on today's show, I want to talk about seven players who have a lot of risk associated

to them heading into the 2024 season, but who could pay off big time if things go their way,

guys who I think are worth the risk this year. And the first name on my list, Cooper Cup,

not somebody that I've actually mentioned a lot on the show this off season. It's coming off

two injury shortened campaigns dealt with ankle issues in 2022.

That limited him to nine games.
