Good morning, friends and enemies. In today's video, we're going to run through seven players that I am just scared shiteless to draft, man. I acknowledge the upside of these players. And I know that there's a real chance that they're going to be good. I just don't think I'm going to end up with them on my team. Okay. This is almost like I'm venting. This is like a fear. This is FOMO. Basically, Every time I see this name picked, I'm like, I didn't really want them, but like I'm kind of jealous of the person who picked them in case this player hits. Okay. So that's the seven players we're going to go through today. If I had to lean one way or the other, the way I described them is like if there's someone in your league, if there's someone in your draft that loves this player

that is actively targeting them that is looking to jump up a little bit in ADP and get this guy

I'm not going to end up with this player on my team like that guy in your league is going to be the guy

that gets them and yes I realize I look like Rudolph the red nose reindeer this will probably

be the case for the next few videos.

First player up on this list is Christian McCaffrey, the running back for the 49ers. Let's talk this out.

Like C-Mack, obviously, if he returns to form, if he returns to just 20-23 form, he's a guy who's

going to win a lot of people, a lot of leagues. At this point, he's quite old. He's past 29 years old,

and he is littered with a resume of lower body injuries, including Achilles tendonitis from last year,

had the sprain at the end of last year in his knee.

So we're dealing with a lot of uncertainty as it relates to his long-term health.

And my sentiment for Christian McCaffrey has kind of been the same since spring, where I'm like,

I'm not going to be going out and actively targeting Christian McCaffrey.

But if we can get through the entire summer unscathed, if we don't have hamstring pulls and ankle tweaks and Killies tendonitis popping back up, I will continue to move Christian McCaffrey further and further up my draft board. And at this point, people have already done that for me. His ADP is seventh overall. You know, you're not getting him in the second round anymore. Now, I know a lot of you guys are going to say, oh, he looks healthy at camp. He looks great at camp. I could not care less about like random beat reporters at San Francisco saying that like he looks great running routes in shorts against air. Like these clips that come out about him running like a wheel route and, you know, there are clips where he's not being guarded by anybody. Like I could care less about that. That does not tell you how explosive he is relative to like what he's been in previous years. My concern is that he's lost explosiveness and like he's not going to be the same guy that he has been in previous years. And he's not going to hold up in a workload that was the reason

that he became the great fantasy player. What I do care about, though, is objectively him coming

away from the summer uninjured. And that's been the case so far. As you can see, Deepak Shona,

another good Twitter doctor out here. You know, he said treatment suggests moderate severity from

the PCL, typically no lingering production dip following season.

But the data projects two times in season risk of the average running back in terms of getting hurt.

Dr. Jesse Morris also posted like games missed for Christian McCaffrey.

It's like you're either getting the goat or you're getting a dude who's blowing up your entire lineup.
