After dying on the operating table for seven minutes,

he returned to one of the most vivid and detailed near-death experiences I've ever heard.

Hi John, thanks a lot for coming on the podcast. Hey, Simon, good morning. It's so good to be here. Thanks so much for inviting

me. So we're going to talk about your near-death experience, which is so detailed. It's fascinating.

Could you tell us how did it start? Sure. Yeah. This happened back in

1987. And I like to tell audiences that I don't know how this happened, but God gave me, I think,

the ability to remember every single detail, even though it happened so many

years ago, it seems to me it happens just like it was yesterday. I remember everything that clearly.

And what happened was my dad was in sales. That was his career. And one year, he won a sales contest. And part of what he won were these two

mopeds, or what we would call scooters nowadays. And we used to ride these all over the neighborhood.

Well, one day, I was out riding and I ran into a tree. I had an accident and I slammed into a tree

and the way that I landed, I tore the tendons off my right hand and I had to go in for surgery.

Well, I was only 21 and I had never been really, ever spent any time in a hospital,

and I certainly had never had any surgery. So I didn't know what to expect. So my mom and I,

she drives me down to the clinic and we go into the operating room. And when they start to give me

the anesthesia,
