So I'm going to be talking about the invention of LSD. Albert Hoffman, a Swiss chemist, made a world-changing discovery in 1938. He invented LSD.

However, while he initially made the substance in 1938, he didn't actually uncover its properties as a psychedelic until five years later. What? Wow, he's a bit slow. What was he trying to do? So, I'll tell you that later. Okay. But he let basically... Ride a bike. He left it sitting in a cupboard for five years before he did anything with it. Wow. Yeah.
