Good afternoon fellow investors and welcome back to InvestDOC.

This is our Thursday, August 8, 2024 edition of Invest Talk and the markets are constantly shifting and we're getting a lot of choppiness. As I've been saying, this is going to be a choppy quarter and when

volatility picks up well volatility happens in both directions so we've had some

down volatility we're having some up volatility but it's all about where you're going in the

medium to long term, right? So more likely than not, this is a buying opportunity opportunity but those buying opportunities can be

quick they may not be there for very long and typically the best ones aren't right

if the market goes down a stock goes down and stays down for an extended period of time, then that's actually indication that probably wants to head lower.

So oftentimes, you know, those buying opportunities are short-lived if it is a strong market a

strong company etc so you have to be ready to pounce on the opportunities but be

able to decipher between the opportunities and the pitfalls.

Falling into you know the narrative what is the narrative around a particularly name, as opposed to, what is the

reality on the ground? And how does that fit with the broader economic trends? And that's what we're here to help you with.
