And today we're going to talk about the Iliad, but I feel like we need to have a little time

just to sort of get to know us, because you don't know us that well at all.

So it's been summer, and we've both been sort of reading and going us because you don't know us that well at all. So it's been summer and we've

both been sort of reading and going to conferences and I've been swimming a ton. It's good. And

Graham took up running. I did. Joggers got a jog. Joggers got a jog. I ran last night and it was

the 4th of July and I got to see a few fireworks and tried to dodge all the cars as I didn't

know which ones contained drunk

Americans and which ones didn't.

Probably most cars last night.

Yeah.

Is the Fourth of July weird for you as a Canadian?

Very.

It's a little strange.

I have taken to ask people why we celebrate it and they say, oh, because Americans independent.

And I say, okay, so in 1776, was the war done or was the war starting?

And a lot of people had to check Wikipedia yesterday.

Turns out they did it partway through the war.

So the war started like in the 60s, and then the war didn't end until the 80s.

So this was like 10 years into the war.
