empowering truth. You are not at the mercy of your moods. You are the architect of your emotional

0:12.2

experience. This quote challenges one of the most limiting beliefs we carry about our emotional

0:17.6

lives, that we're simply victims of whatever mood happens to strike us.

1:23.0

ignore the difficulties, the slope of the land, the soil conditions, the climate. Instead, they work

1:29.7

with these realities to create something beautiful and functional. Similarly, you can work

1:35.3

with your emotional realities, your natural tendencies, your current circumstances, your past

1:41.1

experiences, to create a more positive and resilient emotional life.

1:46.3

This architectural approach to emotions requires both awareness and intention.

1:51.2

You need to notice what's happening in your emotional landscape,

1:54.6

understand what influences it, and then make conscious choices about how to respond.
