Thank you so much for downloading and listening to the show today. And if you're one of the listeners who's been with us for a while, or if you're somebody brand new this year, if you like what you're hearing, give us a rating, give us a review. If there's a spot to do that on your podcast platform, obviously, we always appreciate that. It helps us keep doing what we're doing. It helps us bring it to you for free, just like the score fantasy football draft kit, which is available for free over at the score.

0:43.7

Make sure you're checking that out for all the latest updates.

0:46.3

I'm going to keep updating that every day for the next six weeks or so until the regular season kicks off.

0:51.2

So you can find all my content in there breakouts sleepers players

0:55.8

in targeting or avoiding basically how I'm valuing everyone going into the season and that

1:01.5

requires a lot of updating when we get to this time of year because we get a ton of information

1:05.8

thrown at us during training camp in the preseason and as ofnesday this week all 32 teams will be in camp and

1:12.7

i did this last year i think it's valuable i want to go over today seven storylines that i'm

1:18.3

most interested in figuring out over the next month before we get to week one and remember

1:23.0

we've already done shows the last few weeks on crowded backfields that could produce big time fantasy value, the lottery ticket players that you should be stashing in deep leagues, the key training camp battles that we're monitoring.

1:35.2

So lots of actionable information in those episodes.

1:38.2

But now let's talk about the biggest storylines that are going to impact your fantasy drafts over the summer and your fantasy teams during

1:44.3

the season. And the first one, it's injuries. We've talked about them throughout the offseason.

1:49.2

We had Deepak Chona, SportsMed Analytics on in June. He gave us his outlook on all the recovery

1:54.4

timelines for those star players that got hurt last year. Now we're getting some information.

1:59.1

We're finding out who's starting on the pup list and who

2:01.7

isn't and just to be clear once again the pub list this time of year it's not that serious players

2:06.7

who start camp on pup they can get activated at any time it's the ones who start the season on pup

2:11.8

that are required to miss some games so not ideal if a guy's on pup right now but it's not the end of the

2:17.3

world necessarily so chris elave and Jaden Reed, Mike Williams, O'Dell Beckham, Jonathan Brooks, Juan Johnson, Ricky Piersall. Those are just some of the names who've been placed on either the Pup list or the non-football injury list. Lots of time for them to get cleared, though. And the reality is that we're going to have a bunch of other injuries popping up now, too. Now the guys are on the practice field. Fortunately, we're going to cover it all on the show. I also recommend, though, following Deepak Chona, who I mentioned, Edwin Porras, Matthew Betts, Stefanya Bell, Jeff Mueller, Adam Hutchinson, all the great injury analysts out there who do what they do and help us in the fantasy community. See what they're saying. Try to learn. Maybe you can form a consensus. And then you can make your own decision about what these injuries are going to mean and what you can expect from these players. For the second training camp storyline that I'm going to be watching, what do the rookies look like now that they're on the field with veterans? And yes, we got a glimpse of this during OTAs, but now we're going to see them in training camp. We're going to see them in preseason games. The pads are going to be on. It tends to be pretty easy to tell who belongs and who doesn't. better yet who hits the ground running who's going
