Summary
Envy is one of the only sins that makes little sense - because it doesn't bring a sense of temporary pleasure along with it. Jealousy is often a painful, shocking experience that leads us to further emptiness and discontentment, damaging relationships and destroying our own joy.
On today’s episode, Lindsey Maestas vulnerably discusses her own personal struggle with envy and idolatry after her move to Nashville. She discusses how she felt blinded by her sin after comparing herself to people around her who seemed to have much, much more.
She shares the practical tools that she is using to grow closer to Jesus and how He has helped her turn her heart of envy into a heart of gratitude.
