You won't be listening to this on May 22nd. You're going to be listening to this days later, but I do bring up the date because we're going to talk about something that unfortunately plagued us on Wednesday, May 21st.

It is a town, Nick.

It is a city.

It is an area, the New York metropolitan area where seemingly bad things have happened to these sports teams over the years.

Some good.

Yankees have a bunch of

championships, but not lately. Mets been better lately. But man, oh, man, just absolutely epic

and devastating fashion watching that Knicks game won against the Pacers last night. I mean,

it's the first time, I think, in 770 games, a team has lost up as 12, I think it was,

with two minutes ago, or up 14 with 240 to go.

Some arbitrary stat that they came up with at Stadthole or wherever it came from.

You know, you can always find those, but like it just goes to show just like bad things

are seemingly happening to New York sports at exponential rates.

We hope things slow down on that front. It's just devastating to watch. I don't really even feel Nick having watched that game. We won't spend too much time on the Knicks, but I know there are some people who are Knicks fans and Giants fans like you and I. I didn't even feel watching the game. Like there was too much the Knicks messed up. There were a couple times possessions-wise where they messed up. And I thought their biggest mistakes were, one, when Jalen Brunson with like 25 to 30-ish seconds left, dribble-drived, and then tried to make that pass to OG where it bounced off and when I bet. Like, I thought he should have dribble, dribbled, collected, gathered, and dribbled back to the key to waste more time on the shot clock. I was stunned that he tried to pass for the dunk, which was still like 20, like 16 seconds left on the plate on the shot clock. That was about it and then a possession or two. Mostly it was just bad luck. Like the Pacers just hitting dumb threes that were so luck basedbased to hit four of those threes in a row like they did. The variance on that, it's basically like getting hit with a runner runner flush in poker. You have your money all in. The guy is like has like a pair and nothing else, but he has like one spade in his hand and there's two spades on the board and then somehow it goes spade spade and you lose and it's like well i should have won but no that time you didn't and it's just so devastating i hope it doesn't deflate them for the series like that's that's the key for

me and we'll see what happens yeah i have no comment on the new york nix but we could talk about

the new y Giants here.

Hopefully the New York Giants are looking to turn things around with OTAs starting up.

I'm, you know, these are OTAs.

It's the offseason training program, okay?

But maybe we can answer some questions that we're all thinking about in this early part of the summer before
