didn't start out to build a $100 million business. The hairdresser and

mom of two began her career in top hair salons in New York and Los Angeles, and on a break

from work to care for her family, she had an idea. After years of hunting for a great blowout

for her own extremely curly hair, she thought, why not offer in-home blowout services to

friends and friends of friends and make a little extra on the side?

Well, she tooled around and became so popular driving around in her Nissan Extera that she could barely meet the demands of all the people who wanted her services.

So she decided to take a leap and alone and opened her first brick and mortar drybar location

in 2010 in Brentwood.

And now with the help of her brother and husband, founder Ali Webb has grown Drybar

into a thriving business with more than 65 salons across the US and Canada and recently

released her first book, The Dry Bar Guide to Good Hair for All.
